REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS

From the Multi Taste Kitchen
All of our meals are delivered fully cooked and fresh on the day of delivery, in aluminum containers (for the oven) or plastic containers. No cooking is required—just reheat them carefully, and you’ll enjoy them just as they came out of our kitchen.
Our utensils
Multi Taste's standard cookware: white aluminum cookware and black plastic cookware
Aluminum cookware (white)
Italian coated aluminum cookware (Contital Premium). According to the manufacturer’s instructions: suitable for conventional and convection ovens at 200 °C for 45 minutes, for the refrigerator and freezer, as well as for acidic and salty foods. Use in the microwave only if permitted by your microwave’s manufacturer. Never place in direct contact with an open flame or heating elements.
Plastic utensils (black)
They do not go in the oven. Transfer the food to an oven-safe dish—or to a pot, for soups and sauces. For the microwave, use a glass dish. Salads, dips, and cold dishes are served directly.
The Chef's Five Rules
01
Maintenance
Immediately after delivery, store in the refrigerator (0–4 °C), covered. Consume within 24 hours; baked goods and soufflés within 48 hours.
02
At room temperature
Remove the dishes from the refrigerator 20–30 minutes before reheating to ensure they heat evenly. Preheat the oven.
03
The Right Utensil
Aluminum cookware can go directly into the oven, up to 200 °C and for up to 45 minutes. Plastic cookware should never go into the oven: transfer the food to an oven-safe dish.
04
Covered, then uncovered
Cover them with aluminum foil so they don't dry out. Uncover them for the last 5 minutes to brown and crisp up.
05
Just once, okay
Reheat only once, until the food is piping hot all the way through (about 75 °C). Do not return anything that has been reheated to the refrigerator.
Reheating times by dish
All dishes are already cooked; the times listed refer only to reheating. Preheated conventional oven, top and bottom heating elements. In a convection oven, reduce the temperature by 15–20 °C. The times are approximate and depend on the quantity; in an aluminum pan, do not exceed 45 minutes.
Whole Stuffed Turkey
160 °C, covered · cut into pieces, with its own sauce: 25–30 minutes · whole: about 20 minutes per kilogram, uncovered for the last 15 minutes
For a juicy result, slice it and pour the sauce over it before covering it. Heat the filling separately for 20 minutes at 160 °C.
Roasted Piglet
180 °C, covered; 25–30 minutes, uncovered for the last 5–10 minutes at 200 °C
When covered, it heats evenly without drying out; when uncovered at the end, the skin becomes crispy again.
Grilled and braised meats, chicken, stews
160 °C, covered · 20–25 minutes
Add a spoonful of water or broth to the pot before covering it to keep the meat juicy.
Mini burgers, meatballs, skewers
170 °C, covered · 12–15 minutes
The sauce is added hot at the end, not while it's in the oven.
Pasta soufflé, pastitsio, lasagna, gratin
180 °C, covered · 35–40 minutes, uncovered for the last 5
Let it sit for 5 minutes outside the oven to set before cutting it.
Roasted potatoes, oven-roasted vegetables, rice, and pilaf
180 °C · 10–15 minutes · potatoes and vegetables uncovered, rice covered
Add a few drops of water to the rice before covering it.
Pies, tarts, puff pastries, rolls
170 °C, uncovered · 8–12 minutes (4–5 rolls)
Never cover them: they lose their crispness.
Soups and veloutés
In a pot, over low heat; until it comes to a boil, stirring constantly
Do not boil vigorously. If they have thickened, add a little water or broth.
Salads, dips, cheeses, cold cuts, canapés, desserts
No reheating
Take them out of the refrigerator 15–20 minutes before serving. Add the dressings at the last minute.
Serving
Serve immediately on warm serving platters (warm them in the oven for a few minutes at 60 °C). A fresh herb, a drizzle of olive oil, or the dish’s own sauce added just before serving makes all the difference.
